Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using any products or services provided by Routine Softworks ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our products or services.

Use of Our Products

License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our software products for your personal, non-commercial use.

Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Copy, modify, or create derivative works of our software
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble our software
  • Remove any copyright or proprietary notices from our software
  • Use our software for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks

Local-First Architecture

Our products are designed to run locally on your device. All data is stored on your device, and you are responsible for:

  • Backing up your data
  • Protecting your device and data from unauthorized access
  • Ensuring the security of your local storage

We are not responsible for any loss of data resulting from device failure, user error, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Beta Software

Some of our products may be provided as beta or pre-release software. Beta software is provided "as is" and may contain bugs, errors, or other issues. We make no warranties regarding beta software and are not liable for any damages resulting from its use.

Third-Party Services

Our products may integrate with third-party services (such as Plaid for bank connections, or AI services). Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or reliability of third-party services.

Disclaimer of Warranties

OUR PRODUCTS AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Implied warranties of merchantability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement
  • Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of data

We do not warrant that our products will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ROUTINE SOFTWORKS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF OUR PRODUCTS OR SERVICES.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Routine Softworks, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or relating to your use of our products or services, or your violation of these Terms.

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of our products and services, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software, are the property of Routine Softworks or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our products or services after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to our products or services at any time, with or without cause or notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Routine Softworks operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
