Our Story
Routine Softworks is a small, independent software studio focused on building thoughtful, modern tools that put people first. We came together around a simple belief: you shouldn't have to give up privacy to understand your data. Even if a company isn't harvesting your data, they store it on servers that sometimes end up compromised.
We're building tools because we believe software can be both powerful and approachable. We're building tools that solve real problems for real people.
Our Philosophy
Local-First
Your data stays on your device. We believe you should have full control over your information, without relying on cloud services that might disappear or change their terms. Seriously, you can turn off your WiFi, and the software will still work.
Privacy
We don't track you. We don't sell your data. We don't show you ads. Your privacy is not a feature, it's a fundamental principle. We know how to monetize your data, but we refuse to do that.
Usability
Software is meant to make your life easier. You shouldn't have to spend increasing amounts of time managing the software that is supposed to be helping you. Our software works for you, not the other way around.
Principled
We're committed to our values, no matter what. We will never show ads, track users, or compromise on privacy. Our principles guide every decision we make.
Craft
We take pride in our work. Every detail matters, from the code we write to the user experience we design. We believe in building software that respects the user and solves real problems.
